A stylized character work based on a concept by a very talented concept artist, Panch:

For this character, I learned the proper way to hand paint texture, from skin, fabric, rough surface to metallic accessories. Nailing down the specific highlight and shadow areas was the most challenging part, especially when trying to make the materials look good from all angles.

Furthermore, I added material transition to make the mask disappear, rig and animation to make the character feels more alive.
